Fish Oil Prevents Cervical Cancer from HPV (Human Papilloma Virus)

HPV, or Human Papilloma Virus, is the most common sexually-transmitted disease, with an estimated 1 in 4 sexually-active young adults having the disease. In women, this infection can eventually lead to cervical cancer, which kills more than 3,900 women every year. If you’re a sexually-active young woman, this could be your fate — unless you start taking fish oil supplements! Why? It turns out that fish oil is one of the best HPV supplements available for preventing cancer of the cervix.
Crazy, you say? I just now stumbled upon a study that tested fish oil on cervical HPV-induced pre-cancerous cells and found that the fish oil inhibited the growth of these cells. What’s even more amazing is that it inhibited the growth of already cancerous cells in a benign tumor! Whether you have HPV, cancer or pretty much any chronic disease, there are so many benefits to taking fish oil!

2. I started taking fish oil to better my skin condition (acne & uneven tone) and I must admit, it worked. Within a week I saw a diiference! The down side to that is I’m suffering bad side effects from the pills. Headaches, nausea, and pains in my breast. I’ve stopped taking them since experiencing the symptoms, but I do want to know if this is normal? Is the dosage too high for me, or is this an allergic reaction to the supplements? Can someone help?

3. I stumbled on this site looking for information for my boyfriend. I was given HPV over 20 years ago. At that time I had lazar surgery to eradicate the virus. I have always taken vitamin supplements and paid close attention to my nutrition and physical fitness. I currently take pharmanex vitamins and fish oil. (this is not an advertisement) I have never had a recurrence of the disease and my doctors over the years have scratched their heads and commented on how healthy my tissues are and how lucky I am. I also have low cholesterol levels and high HDL. I am in my mid 50’s. After reading this, I believe my good health may be in large part due to fish oil supplements.

4. it is good to know that at least the HPV Vaccine can prevent most cases of Cervical Cancer.
