Fish Oil Improves Verbal, Memory & Spelling Skills in Children, Decreases Sick Days

355 children, ages 6 to 9, were given omega-3 fish oil doses everyday by researchers in South Africa. What did these find as a result of fish oil supplementation?

Dr. Marius Smuts told the Congress of the International Society for the Study of Fatty Acids and Lipids in Cairns that he found the children were able to retain information better and were less inclined to take sick days.
