Unleaded, Diesel or Fish Oil?

In the search for fossil-fuel alternatives for automobiles, some are turning to hydrogen power, some to electric power and some to… fish oil?

Apparently, a new kind of fuel is emerging called biodiesel, which is described as “a mixture of around 20 percent vegetable oil and 80 percent diesel.” However, Wikipedia’s entry on biodiesel indicates that alternatives to vegetable oil are microalgae oils and even animal fats.

According to an even stranger article, a Canadian company is already selling this, albeit using a special recipe:

Wilson Fuels, a Nova Scotia company, is already marketing biodiesel fuel. However, it uses fish oil instead of vegetable oil.

Sounds like the PERFECT idea for all those less-than-stellar health-food grade fish oils out there!
